Hope Church offers many opportunities for worship, ministry and fellowship. We pride ourselves in the fact we are a smaller parish that reaches out to each member and warmly welcomes visitors.
Our Church school is a one room school using the teachings of Jesus through hands on activities and lessons with music. It meets at the same time as our worship service.
Hope Church has a rich Music Ministry including a special occasion choir. From time to time, special musical events are offered. Check our events calendar each month for dates and times. We join together with the five parishes of the western rim of Lancaster Convocation in doing special musical events such as a choir festival in May, where choirs of the five parishes and other churches in the area get together do a musical festival.
During Advent and Lent, special services are held and a Lenten breakfast and meditation day is held. The Churches of the western rim also conduct a Lenten program on each Wednesday during Lent.
Hope Church has a variety of fellowship activities throughout the year, including a Shrove Tuesday Pancake Supper, Easter Egg hunt, Family Bowling event, Golf outing, Annual Church Picnic, ongoing strong support of two local food banks, care packages to our college students and other events.
Opportunities for ministry in our church community include: Worship and Music Committee, Parish Life Committee, Finance Committee and Grounds Committee. At Hope Church, we strongly believe that God calls each of us to a ministry both within and outside the Church and that each person’s ministry is a valued and integral part of what makes us together the people of God.
Food and fellowship are a very important part of our parish life. Each Sunday after services, there is a food and fellowship time where we provide a excellent luncheon with time to socialize and share with fellow parishioners. All are welcome to join this time of fellowship, members and visitors alike.
